Step-by-Step Guide 

Requirements

1. iPhone with firmware v1.1.1 (Please don't use with firmware 1.1.2, till the new software came up).

2. Internet Connection (Wi-Fi or EDGE).

STEP 1

A. Connect your iPhone to the Wi-Fi or make sure the EDGE is working.

B. Change the Auto-Lock to be (NEVER) as follows: Settings --> General --> Auto-Lock --> Never.

 

STEP 2

A. From your iPhone , tab on the Safari and type this url http://jailbreakme.com --> tab Go

B. Read it carefully and understand what you are doing then scroll down. Tab on Install AppSnapp

STEP 3

A. Safari will exit and your iPhone will freez (it is normal, just wait around 5 minutes or more) . Wait till you are re-directed to the lock screen.

B. Unlock your iPhone. You should see a new icon (Installer)

Congratulations!

Now you will be able to install any 3rd-party application, theme, ringtone, etc.

Open Installer

and update it (if instructed). It is your choice to install what ever application you need but we recommend the below list to be installed from the Installer:

1. Community Sources. 2. BSD Subsystem 3. OpenSSH 4. SummerBoard

Note: To be able to view, copy, delete, or move any of the files inside the iPhone (including but not limited to ringtones, pics, etc.) you will need to connect to your iPhone from your PC or MAC using any FTP software such as WinSCP or PuTTY (for Windows) , Fetch or Cyberduck (for MAC)
